EVRF service offerings are unique due to the regulatory framework of the Cabazon Band of Cahuilla Indians. The Cabazon government environmental department developed an Environmental code in 2015 in conjunction with the EPA. The regulations and permits the facility must abide by are within the Cabazon Environmental Code. This framework along with Federal EPA regulations is what the management team and the third-party laboratory use to approve any material brought to the facility.
Once a material has been through the screening and quality control process, the material is approved for transport.
At the facility we use innovative technology to track, treat and reuse/recycle the material brought to the facility.
Whatever your requirements, partner with us for trusted waste solutions. For scheduling, please contact us at eastvalleyremediationfacility@gmail.com

Our Process
We adhere rigorously to regulatory requirements set forth by the Cabazon Band of Cahuilla Indians. The facility holds a current business permit #EP2023-0522 valid until 2027 and operates under the Tribal Environmental Code to ensure environmental and human safety. Regular testing and reporting of ponds’ contents occur quarterly, with results submitted to the Cabazon Tribal government for review. The Cabazon Environmental Department also monitors wells to check groundwater quality.
EVRF Compliance
We maintain an active presence within the Mecca community, participating in local meetings to update residents on operations and promptly address any concerns. This open communication fosters transparency and trust, supported by the fact that a majority of EVRF employees reside locally, contributing significantly to the community through employment opportunities.
EVRF Community Engagement
Safety is paramount at EVRF, underscored by ongoing trainings conducted by a contracted safety company. These initiatives ensure that all operational practices adhere to the highest safety standards, prioritizing the well-being of employees and the community alike. EVRF is proud of our safety record. In 2023, the facility had no lost-time accidents or operational emergencies.
